A CELEBRATION OF CHINOISERIE &
“BRIGHTEN MY DAY” -
TRIO OF CHEONGSAM’S
“Beautiful and unique pieces of art. I have both received Debby Meyers prints as a gift and given to others, as I loved the artwork so much. Traditional Chinese images with a modern twist, very easy to create bespoke designs with brilliant customer service from Debby!”
– Georgina Lindbergh
I am excited to unveil a new series of prints available as framed pieces or vibrant canvases. The first, “Hong Kong Blues,” features iconic Hong Kong landmarks intertwined with beautiful chinoiserie patterns. The second, “Brighten My Day,” showcases the traditional Cheongsam in bold, neon colors that celebrate its individuality.
Chinoiserie, from the French word for Chinese, represents the European interpretation of East Asian aesthetics. This style gained popularity in the 18th century alongside the tea-drinking trend, which called for exquisite settings for fashionable ladies. I have a passion for chinoiserie with a modern flair. This refined style enhances various interiors without overwhelming them. The cheongsam has evolved from a loose-fitting dress to the sleek designs we see today. My inspiration blends bold traditional colors with Asian patterns, giving each piece its own story.
Each piece is crafted with care, reflecting a love for heritage and contemporary design. These prints are more than decor; they inspire conversation and elevate any space. Step into a world where art meets culture, and let your home resonate with the vibrancy of the present.
If you’d like to own or gift one of these gorgeous prints, just email me for details and pricing at debbyleedesigns@gmail.com. You can view all the Hong Kong Blues prints here or the Brighten My Day prints here.
