ANGELS FOR CHILDREN

I have been the volunteer In-House Graphic Designer for Angels for Children for the past 5 years. I design all media, event, website material and promotional graphics. This could be a flyer to promote the charity or a 10 page programme  for an event.  More notably I have redesigned the old logo to make it more modern and readable.

ANGELS FOR CHILDREN INFORMATION

Angels for Children provides funding to improve children’s lives worldwide. We believe that every child has a right to love, happiness, education, care, shelter, food, medicine, clothing and hope. Yet, sadly, thousands of orphaned children are denied a safe and loving environment in which to flourish and grow, caught up in the cycle of violence, disease, mal-nutrition and ignorance that blights their young and fragile lives. We are currently working to secure funding for projects managed by four very worthwhile charities working tirelessly to give renewed hope to vulnerable, disadvantaged and neglected children in Cambodia, Indonesia and Hong Kong.

We are very proud to be partnered with Bali Kids, New Hope for Cambodian Children, Sunrise Children’s Village in Cambodia and Po Leung Kuk Hong Kong. Each of our partner organizations strives to provide full and healthy futures for the children in their care. Angels for Orphans is a Hong Kong registered non for profit and we are determined to support local children as well as those overseas. In July 2012, together with Po Leung Kuk we launched the All-Rounded Development Programme which gives so many new opportunities to children in care here in Hong Kong.

Since our establishment in 2009, our passion has driven us to help children where the needs are most desperate. We realise how key it is that we, as volunteers, are pro-active in raising the profile and funds for each of our partner organizations. This is achieved by engaging with the local community, championing passionate companies and individuals to assist with well needed changes.

We believe it is important to help educate our global young citizens within local schools, as they will become the future Angels. This is accomplished by coordinating and hosting events and giving presentations.
